Rules for Sponsorships
Article 1 – Purpose
- This regulation governs the activities of sponsorship from third parties for what concerns the organization of the The festival of International Short film MED-LIMES “on The Borders of the Mediterranean”, the Images and stories from the borders of the Mediterranean. The FONMED – “Foundation South Cooperation and Development in the Mediterranean” the delegation of the company Medicert ltd for the implementation of all operational services and the acquisition of any sponsor.
- The entities that request sponsorship declare to know the event Med-limes and its regulation on this site medlimes.org ; and to know, accept, and share the principles and purposes of statues of the Foundation posted on the site www.fonmed.it
- The FONMED, in the person of the President may withdraw, in its sole discretion and at any time, the sponsorship contract entered into with third parties, if it were the conditions.
Article 2 – Definitions
2.1. For the purposes of this regulation aims at:
- (a) for “sponsorship contract”: a contract with corresponding obligations by which one party (the sponsor) will be obliged to pay a sum of money to provide goods or services or to carry out work in favour of the other party (events, initiatives and projects, the ability to advertise in the appropriate fields, name, trademark, image, activity, products, or services, or the like, or distribute products or services as a promotion in the ways provided for by the contract, with an obligation of means and not of result.
- (b) “sponsor” or “sponsor” the person who, in order to increase the reputation of its distinctive signs, signing the endorsement contract;
- (c) for “sponsored” or “sponsee” the person who makes the provision of the means of making available the opportunity to advertise the distinctive features of the sponsor as part of their events, initiatives or projects;
- (d) for “advertising space”: space is physical or digital, or any other support act to convey information, made available to the sponsor,
- (e) for financial sponsorship or pure one in which the sponsor in exchange for the right to exploit the spaces for the purposes of advertising, just give a loan;
- f) for the technical sponsorship that the sponsor, in exchange for the right to exploit spaces for advertising purposes, perform work, provide services or supply goods.
No. 3 – The Sponsor
Can take the form of a sponsor of the following subjects:
– physical persons;
– legal persons, having or not for profit or commercial purposes;
– the non-profit organizations.
No. 4 – the Object of Sponsorship
The sponsorship contract may have on the subject:
– the supply of materials or goods/equipment;
– the provision of the provision of the service;
– the provision of a contribution in money.
Article 5 – Mode of sponsorship
The sponsorship initiatives can take, but not limited to, the following forms:
– the presence of the brand of the sponsor on official materials of communication (publications of the chamber of commerce, event program, poster, posters, folder, print, media channels etc)
– participation in the highlights of the presentation of the event: press conference, the inaugural event, etc;
– the right of association of the image of the Sponsor Company to that of the sponsored event for
their advertising;
– spaces on the correspondence;
– spaces on the occasion of the event;
– space on the website of the company.
No. 6 – sponsorship Levels
The participation in the The festival of International Short film MED-LIMES “on The Borders of the Mediterranean sea” it consists of three different levels of engagement specified below:
You can also collaborate in the organization of the initiative as Technical sponsor for the supply of materials, or to contribute to the cost of living such as dinners, coffee breaks.
- 1000,00 euro – Silver Sponsor
This formula provides visibility of the lower level of the logo through:
- Web pages (web site medlimes), social network (Facebook and Instagram), newsletters, logo present on the mailing list of the event;
- Descriptive Brochure of the event;
- Logo on promotional material (poster, totem, flyer, etc.)
- 1500,00 euro – Gold Sponsor
This formula provides visibility of the lower level of the logo through:
- Web pages (web site medlimes), social network (Facebook and Instagram), newsletters, logo present on the mailing list of the event;
- Descriptive Brochure of the event;
- Logo on promotional material (poster, totem, flyer, etc.)
- Interview with dedicated article on the newspaper online
– Ability to add their own materials, information and promotional material advertising his own to expose the event, as brochure or posters)
– Possibility to expose a Roll-up and a banner.
- 3000,00 euro – Main Sponsor
This formula provides visibility of the lower level of the logo through:
- Web pages (web site medlimes), social network (Facebook and Instagram), newsletters, logo present on the mailing list of the event;
- Descriptive Brochure of the event;
- Logo on promotional material (poster, totem, flyer, etc.)
– Ability to add their own materials, information and promotional material advertising his own to expose the event, as brochure or posters)
– Possibility to display up to 3 Roll-up and\or 3 banner-totem.
– Editorial plan for social article in a newspaper or online);
– The possibility of setting up corner box, show point.
No. 7 – sponsorship Contract
The management of the sponsorship is regulated by the signing of a contract
in which are, in particular, laid down:
- (a) the subject of the contract;
- (b) the value of the sponsorship;
- (c) the form of consideration and terms of payment;
- (d) the duration of the contract;
- (e) the commitments and/or obligations of the subject sponsored – sponsee;
- (f) forms of delivery of the distinctive marks of the sponsor to be a part of the subject-sponsored -sponsee;
- (g) governing the use of logos, trademarks or distinctive signs of the sponsor;
- h) the commitments and/or obligations of the sponsor and the management of the logo of the subject sponsored – sponsee where applicable;
- (i) any right of the “exclusive”;
- (j) the withdrawal;
- k) the non-performance and termination of the contract;
- l) the resolution of disputes relating to the execution of the contract;
- m) costs, and contractual provisions to the end.
The sponsorship agreement is signed by the sponsor with Medicert Srl, under the sponsorship contract is also authorised the use of the “inventory” indicated in the specification.
No. 8 – Adjustment of the exclusive general or of an exclusive commercial
8.1. The company Medicert srl can define the relationship with the sponsor on the basis of exclusivity clauses
general or business if it believes that such contractual arrangements may be helpful to solicit profiles, competitive aimed at finding more resources or to the presentation of
sponsor the most significant.
8.2. In relation to the provisions of the previous subparagraph 1:
- (a) the exclusivity clause of the general involves the formalization of the relationship with a single subject
as sponsor;
- (b) the exclusivity clause business involves the formalisation of the most sponsorship relations with subjects as sponsor, each identified as the counterparty to the main
and only for a specific product category or activity.
8.3. The company Medicert Srl highlights the existence or absence of exclusivity clauses-general, or
shopping in the procedures prior to signing a sponsorship contract, specifying any criteria for the evaluation of proposals competitors.
8.4. In any case, the inclusion of exclusivity clauses in endorsement contracts
does not imply incompatibility with other initiatives involving third parties, such as legal aid or
awareness-raising initiatives related to space, assets, and issues of interest to the collective.
No. 9 – Use of proceeds and of the cost savings arising from the sponsorship
The sums introitate under consideration by the sponsorship will be used to finance the activities of the FONMED – “Foundation South for the Development and Cooperation in the Mediterranean”, giving priority to the promotion, dissemination and implementation of the event, program, initiative or activity the subject of sponsorship.
Performance is the subject of a contract of sponsorship/collaboration agreements/conventions covered by this regulation are subject to the applicable tax provisions.
Article 10 – Processing of personal data
- a) personal data collected in the application of this regulation will be processed exclusively for the purposes contained therein.
- (b) The individual concerned may exercise their rights recognised by the law D. Lgs. 196/2003 e s.m.the. and the European Regulation on Privacy (GDPR 2016/679).
- (c) Holder of the data processing is the Medicert Srl in the person of its legal representative, who shall adopt the measures preparatory to the sponsorship.
- (d) The data are treated in accordance with the regulations in force, from the employees to the offices of the Medicert Srl required for the application of this regulation.
- (e) The personal data may be subject to disclosure and/or dissemination to public or private in relation to the purposes of the regulation.
No. 11 – Reference
For each aspect, relating to the subject and the object in the contract that you do not find, however, explicit discipline in this regulation refer to:
- (a) for the profiles of the contractual regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code and the special law on the matter;
- (b) for the use of the trademarks and distinctive signs to the D. Lgs. no. 30/2005 and s.m.i., as well as other specific legislation on the matter.
